At High Point Academy, we believe in parent choice when it comes to your child’s education. Located in Spartanburg, South Carolina, High Point Academy is a STEAM-focused, tuition-free, public charter school serving students throughout the Upstate. Established in 2014, we are Spartanburg County’s only charter school serving students in grades kindergarten through twelve. We have three schools on one campus. When you choose High Point Academy, you choose academics, athletics, fine arts, and a feeling of family. 

We are a proud member of the South Carolina Public School District and operate financially as an independent charter school. This means that we have the accountability of the only state-authorized charter school district. At the same time, we have the freedom to make choices that are best for our students because we are not bound by an Education Management Organization (EMO).
