Sports play an important role at High Point Academy. The High Point Academy athletic program provides students the opportunity to compete against other schools through organized conferences in the Upstate. On the high school level, Grizzly athletes compete in the South Carolina High School League (SCHSL). We offer seven different sports programs competing with other Class A, Region 1 schools. Our fall teams include volleyball and cross country. Winter sports consist of basketball and wrestling. In the spring High Point Academy competes in baseball, soccer, and softball.
On the middle school level, High Point Academy competes in the Foothills Athletic Conference (FAC). FAC consists of eight schools from Cherokee, Spartanburg, and Union Counties.
Whether as a player or as a fan, involvement in athletics is a vital part of the school’s educational experience. We encourage you to come out and support HPA athletics.
