E-learning Day Friday, January 8

Inclement Weather Notice

Due to the possibility of inclement weather, Friday, January 8th, 2021, will be an e-learning day for all students. According to the latest forecast by The National Weather Service, there is a possibility of snow, sleet, and slick roadways Friday. As there is an increased chance of snow accumulation throughout the day, the High Point Academy campus will be closed. We have families who drive from all parts of the area, and we value learning and safety at HPA.

Kindergarten - 4th grade: packets were sent home with students today.
Fifth grade and Explorer students: assignments will be posted in Google Classroom.

Middle and High School
Middle and high school students will continue e-Learning on Friday and join their classes as normal.

The EOC/exam schedule has also been modified as follows:
  • January 11 - English 2/Writing
  • January 13 - English 2/Reading
  • January 14 - BiologyJanuary 15 - US History
  • January 19 - 1st/2nd Block Exams
  • January 20 - Algebra I and 3rd/4th Block Exams
  • January 21 - Make-up day
  • January 22 - Make-up day
Decisions regarding closings are made with deliberation and care. The health and safety of students, parents, teachers, and staff is our top priority as we prepare our students for success!
