Congratulations to senior Rachel Burroughs on winning the Teaching Fellows Scholarship as part of our Teacher Cadet Program! She will attend Winthrop University in the fall. Jackalyn Rice was the first HPA Teacher Cadet to receive the Teaching Fellows Scholarship in 2021. She is a freshman at USC Upstate.
The primary goal of the Teacher Cadet Program is to encourage academically talented, high-achieving, high school students with exemplary interpersonal and leadership skills to consider teaching as a career.
