History
At High Point Academy, we believe in parent choice when it comes to your child’s education. Located in Spartanburg, South Carolina, High Point Academy is a STEAM-focused, tuition-free, public charter school serving students throughout the Upstate. Established in 2014, we are Spartanburg County’s only charter school serving students in grades kindergarten through twelve. We have three schools on one campus. When you choose High Point Academy, you choose academics, athletics, fine arts, and a feeling of family.

How to Apply to High Point Academy
If you have any questions or need assistance at any step of the application process, our admissions team is here to help. We look forward to welcoming you to High Point Academy.
Create an Account:
Take the time to explore the diverse range of programs offered at High Point Academy. Once you are ready, click on the "Apply Now" link on this page. If you have never applied to High Point Academy before, you will create an account on the PowerSchool Enrollment website. After that, you will be able to start your students online application.

Online Application
Once you have a parent account created, you will be able to proceed with an application. Just follow the steps outlined in the application form and once complete, go ahead and submit. If we are in the lottery window someone will reach out to you after the Lottery is ran, otherwise you will be contacted within 72 hours of your application.

Enrollment
Once you have been notified that you were accepted, you will receive an email with Registration information. You will receive this within 72 hours of accepting a seat offer. If at anytime during the registration process you have questions, you can open a support ticket using the link given in in the original registration email, or you may send an email to registrar@hpaspart.org

PLTW School of Distinction
We are proud to be a PLTW school of distinction! This honor is not easily obtained and demonstrates our commitment to preapre our students fur success beyond the K-12 setting.
PLTW Launch and Gateway
Our Elementary and Middle School Project Lead the Way programs focus on introducing students to the areas of Engineering and Robotics, Biomedical Sciences, and Computer Sciences in a problem based learning environment.
PLTW Engineering, Biomedical Science and Computer Science
By High School, our students can choose to focus on one of the three branches they were introduced to in Launch and Gateway by selecting Engineering, Biomedical Science, or Computer Science courses.
