Find the Right Path for Your Family

— I’m New to High Point Academy

All eligible Kindergarten–12th grade students residing in South Carolina may apply to High Point Academy. Students are admitted without regard to race, religion, gender, creed, national origin, disability, need for special education services, or socioeconomic status.
  • Applications are completed online
  • One application per child is required (including siblings)
  • Once submitted, applications are reviewed by our enrollment team
  • Submitting early does not change odds (random selection based on available seats)
If the number of applicants exceeds available seats in a grade level, a randomized lottery is used to determine seat offers and waitlist order.

Thank you for your interest in High Point Academy — we look forward to meeting your family.

— I’m a Returning HPA Family

All current students must re-enroll every year to keep their seat for the upcoming school year.

High Point Academy gives priority enrollment to:

  • Currently enrolled students
  • Siblings of currently enrolled students
  • Children or legal dependents of HPA employees and Board members

If a student has previously withdrawn from HPA, they may reapply but will not retain priority status. Students with excessive absences or tardies may lose their seat and may be asked not to reapply. There is no appeal process for lottery-based admission decisions.

Why Families Choose High Point Academy

Families searching for high-quality schools in Spartanburg County or public charter school options in South Carolina will find HPA proudly serves students in Kindergarten through 12th grade.

New Student Enrollment Process

  • Families have 72 hours to accept
  • Failure to respond may result in forfeiting the seat

After accepting the seat, families receive a link to complete registration in PowerSchool Enrollment (not the Parent Portal).

You will upload documents and complete required forms to finalize enrollment.

  • Late applications are not included in the lottery
  • If a waitlist exists, applicants are added in the order received
