Brandi Huckaby

Mrs. Brandi Huckaby grew up in Spartanburg County, where the school library was always her favorite place to be. After earning a Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education from the University of South Carolina Upstate in 2005, she served students as a kindergarten teacher in Spartanburg District 3 before joining High Point Academy in 2015 and being named Teacher of the Year for the 2015-2016 school year. Since arriving at High Point Academy she has been a second grade teacher, Reading Coach, and has been in her current role as School Librarian since 2021. Mrs. Huckaby also holds a Masters in Library and Information Science from the University of South Carolina.
