Jayna Carson

Ms. Jayna Carson grew up in Columbia, SC where she began dancing at the young age of two. Her training includes tap, jazz, contemporary/lyrical, modern, classical ballet, and hip-hop. She danced competitively for 14 years before continuing her education at Anderson University to study dance. After graduation in 2024, Ms. Carson joined HPA and obtained her teaching certification. Collectively, she has been teaching for 9 years and strives to create a positive environment where students can explore, grow and reach new goals. She has received multiple awards for her innovative choreography and loves helping her students explore movement themselves. Jayna is also passionate about health and fitness, outside of school she enjoys running, hiking, weight lifting, and coaching OrangeTheory Fitness classes.
