High School

High Point Academy (HPA) High School offers a well-rounded educational experience designed to help every student thrive. We combine rigorous academics and enriching opportunities in the arts, athletics, and character development. Students benefit from dedicated teachers, engaging instruction, and a supportive school community that values growth, leadership, and achievement. Through hands-on learning, technology integration, and a wide range of extra curricular activities our high school prepares students to reach their highest potential in and out of the classroom.

Students benefit from rigorous academic coursework, including opportunities to earn college credit through our dual enrollment program, with classes offered on and off campus. We also provide Technology Education (CTE) courses designed to meet diverse student interest and career goals. In addition, the high school partners with South Carolina Vocational Rehabilitation Department and Able SC to help students earn employability credentials and prepare for success in the workforce.

High school students benefit from a wide range of opportunities designed to prepare them for life beyond the classroom. These opportunities include career fairs, college visits, and scholarship assistance to support future planning and success. Students are encouraged to become involved in clubs such as National Honor Society, Beta Club, Student Council, Hope Squad, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Garden Club and more. Through championship level athletics, students develop the values of hard work, teamwork, and perseverance while many student leaders also excel as lead performers in productions presented by the HPA Fine Arts Department.

Our dedicated staff strives to equip students to graduate high school prepared as well rounded, capable individuals ready to succeed in college, careers, and their communities.

Tucker Hamrick

High School Principal

Mr. Tucker Hamrick started his career in education as a teacher in Spartanburg District 1, where he later served as a principal, assistant principal, and assistant director of operations. Hamrick is a graduate of Clemson University. He earned a degree in Science Teaching and played on the Clemson Tiger football team.
His experience as a player later served him well as a varsity football assistant coach, JV baseball head coach, and varsity softball head coach. Originally from Shelby, North Carolina, Hamrick lives in Inman with his wife, Danielle, and three children.
