About High Point Academy

You have a choice. Choose excellence.

At High Point Academy, we believe in parent choice when it comes to your child's education. Located in Spartanburg, South Carolina, High Point Academy is a STEAM-focused, tuition-free, public charter school serving students throughout the Upstate. We are Spartanburg County’s only charter school serving students in grades kindergarten through twelve. We have three schools on one campus. When you choose High Point Academy, you choose academics, athletics, fine arts, and a feeling of family.

MISSION:

To cultivate lifelong learners in a student-centered environment.

VISION:

To be an exemplary school of choice for academically minded families.

High Point Academy is a South Carolina Public Charter School District member, and all South Carolina students are eligible to apply for the lottery. We strive to make every student feel welcome, connected, and part of the High Point Academy family.

Certified teachers lead High Point Academy with an emphasis in STEAM (science, technology, engineering, arts, and math), education and character development, and leadership training. Through a partnership with family and community, each student will be challenged to achieve his or her highest potential in school and beyond the classroom. We ask our students, our parents, and our staff to uphold the High Point Academy Commitment (School-Parent Compact).
