High School

It is the vision of High Point Academy (HPA) High School to become the school of choice in South Carolina. Our students benefit from rigorous academic courses, including several college classes taught on and off campus through our Dual Enrollment Program. Additionally, we offer various electives and Career and Technology (CTE) courses tailored to student needs.

Empowering Students for Success in High School and Beyond

Students learn that their talents will open the doors of opportunity, but their character will keep them in the room. We work to build character by teaching the principles of honor, integrity, and service. HPA students are challenged to become critical thinkers and problem solvers, as outlined in the South Carolina High Graduate Profile.

Unlike the large, impersonal high schools in our area, HPA offers a more personalized experience where students don’t have to compete with thousands of peers for opportunities. We provide nearly all the programs of a traditional high school—championship athletics, student leadership, fine arts, and a variety of clubs—but with the advantage of smaller class sizes and a tight-knit community. This means students have a much higher chance of actively participating in the activities they love, whether it's leading a club, playing a sport, or taking center stage in a performance. With career fairs, college visits, and scholarship assistance, we also help students prepare for what’s next, ensuring they graduate as well-rounded individuals ready for their future.
