HPA’s Hope Squad raised almost $400 in honor of Ethan Rubenzer, a former HPA student, who tragically died from injuries he suffered in a car accident on the way to school in 2019. Ethan was passionate about volunteering at the Human Society, whose volunteers came to visit and graciously accepted the donations - which also included pet supplies (collected by the Beta Club), and toys and treat bags (made by NHS). On an even more uplifting note, Ms. Robinson, Hope Squad's sponsor, decided to make Tabitha a part of her own family. The Robinsons adopted Tabitha, who loves her new home.
