A huge thank you to eighth grader Jordan Whittaker who, along with two fellow girl scouts, made these cute bags for monthly products. Along with crafting the bags, they collected more than 6000 monthly supply items for the Grizzly Giving Closet. Did you know one in four girls struggle to access these products - posing a challenge to their education? We are proud of Jordan's service to HPA and our community!
The Grizzly Giving Closet is a set of lockers in the hallway leading to the nurse's office where any High Point Academy student can get personal care items (soap, toothbrush, etc.) when they find themselves in need. If you would like to donate to the Grizzly Giving Closet, you can drop off supplies at the front desk. We are currently in need of deodorant and small snacks (like fruit snacks).
