We are looking forward to the start of the school year. Save the date for Meet the Teacher, Monday, August 7, from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. on campus. Students will receive their schedules and teacher assignments and be able to visit classrooms. To tee you up for a great start, here are the school supply lists for the 2023-2024 School Year.
To save you money, South Carolina's 2023 Tax-Free Weekend runs from August 4, at 12 a.m. until August 6, at 11:59 p.m. During the annual Tax-Free Weekend (also known as the Sales Tax Holiday, a variety of purchases are exempt from the state's 6% Sales Tax and any applicable local taxes. Tax-free items range from clothing, accessories, and shoes to school supplies, backpacks, and computers. As long as an item is eligible, it is tax-free whether purchased in-store or online.
