Rising Sophomore and Reigning Miss HPA, Haleigh Roberts, spent two weeks in July at South Carolina Governor’s School for the Arts and Humanities. She auditioned and was accepted into the two-week residential program for students who desire intensive training in creative writing, drama, instrumental/vocal music, or visual arts. The curriculum incorporates studio work, self-directed studies, performances, field trips, lectures, masterclasses, and presentations by faculty and guest artists. During her two weeks in the voice program, she took private voice lessons and studied music theory, performance etiquette, cultural percussion, and audition coaching, culminating in two recitals: an ensemble performance and a solo performance. We are so proud of this Grizzly!
